A lot of the countryside consists of deep canyons, which are strongly preserved by local government. It is a fine environment for all kind of flowers, herbs, trees that grow and bloom, especially during springtime. It is also a good location for wildlife. Deers, foxes, partridges and the occasional wild pig can be seen. Fresh rosemary is everywhere and, of course, local variants of almonds and olives flourish…..
