Donating

Climates is eager to expand its reforestation efforts across numerous hectares of land, and we’re seeking contributors eager to join our beautiful, green project. We invite supporters who are not just interested in financial contributions, but also wish to witness the impact of their specific donations. Through options like our live webcam feed or, for those who prefer, a personal visit. You can observe the growth of trees on the land. From the Finca you can see the planted trees, and via beautiful hiking trails you can admire the new and old nature and the planting we have done with your contribution.

The Foundation was established to contribute to achieving global climate goals through reforestation and promoting environmentally responsible agriculture and forestry. See section “our policy plan” for our approach to this goal. 

Should you wish to contribute, please use the contact form to reach us, and we will be more than happy to discuss various options with you to support the reforestation project. We have listed our basic options in section “donating options”.

Foundation Climates has various options for donating. Please contact us for our standardized silver, gold and platinum packages or a custom setup.

For the Silver, Gold and Platinum donating options, Climates guarantees to plant trees on it’s land and keep a specific area dedicated to the donation, so you will be able to track growth.

None of the board team members receive a remuneration for their work for the foundation.

The Climates Foundation has an ANBI (Dutch: “Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling”) status under number RSIN 864.046.595. This status might be beneficial for Dutch tax residents, making their gift to the foundation tax deductible.

An organization can only be granted an ANBI status if it is at least 90% committed to the public benefit, in this case nature restoration.
